mix
1½ cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground ginger
pinch of salt
mix in
½ cup of softened butter
½ cup of brown sugar
5 tablespoons of golden syrup
shape into balls
roll in sugar
bake at 180°c for about 12 minutes until golden.
